Hey I was just wondering if any of you knew anything about Svoboda. Is he posting anywhere else? I heard rumors that he was on DD, but I've never seen him there. Is he taking time off to be with his family more? Could he ever possibly come back? If that information is private, I understand, I was just wondering if we would ever be on the recieving end of his wisdom and knowledge again.

Svoboda still runs a couple of other sites: bigtentalk.com and chisportstalk.com.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Congrats on the accomplishment!
Hell, I remember my first time was in a car just like....well, another story for another day.

While I resent being called one of the "Old Guys" :eek:grin: , I'd think that it's safe to say that Svo's return would be unlikely at best. The daily shuffleboard tournaments down at the Captain's Dock and his Lambada lessons 3 times a week really have him pressed for time. I'm sure you can understand. I can however post a recent pic of Svo and his sultury partner during a recent dance off at the "Club".

Thanks for the answer. I'm not trying to live in the past, just was always glad to read his stuff because he always knew what the hell he was talking about. I didn't think it was that likely either, just wanted to check. He looks like he's having fun above anyway.

Nah...I'm sure he's doing just fine. Never say never, but right now, I'm sure he's content doing what he's doing and won't be back.

I know how you feel. He along with Jigga were the life line to this site and brought so much to it.

Svo owns Indy sports talk.com and Chicago sports talk .com, hit them both up from time to time... both fine sites

as far IE, losing him and jigg crippled this place for a long while... but the work is being done to bring it back to greatness, all we ask for is time... about half the features that we all loved are up and running again... Live Chat, the sports book, recuriting profiles... in the upcoming weeks those aspects still missing will be addressed...

He posts under the name BodaBoda on the Rivals premium board sometimes...so he still has some actual interest in ND...so maybe there's hope.

I also don't want people to think I don't love the site as it is now, or that other people's contributions aren't valueable either. I'm sure we will "return to glory" sans Ty, and sans other people we will probably miss more (Svo, Jigg). Anyway, here's to the future, both of ND and IE! :cheers:
