IrishIllustrated.com - Harangody out with bruised knee
An MRI to the knee he injured against Seton Hall showed no ligament damage or cartlilage damage but a bone bruise will keep him out of the St John's game on Sunday and likely Louisville on Wednesday. ND's next game after that is PITT on 2/24. They have G'Town on 2/27, UCONN on 3/3, and Marquette on 3/6 to close the regular season.
Had he been able to play in all six game he'd have needed 14 ppg to become the Big East All-Time Scorer and 23 pppg to become ND's All-Time Scorer.
If he only misses the next 2 games. He'd need 21 ppg to take the Big East Crown and 34 ppg to pass Carr for the ND crown. Both are doable if he's 100% as he's currently averaging 24.1 ppg as the nation's 3rd leading scorer.

The injury also will make it harder for Harangody to become the Big East's all-time leading scorer. He has scored 1,324 points in league games. He needs 65 points to pass Troy Bell of Boston College for second and 82 points to pass Syracuse's Lawrence Moten as the league's all-time scorer. The Irish have six Big East games remaining.
He needs to 136 points to pass Austin Carr as Notre Dame's all-time scorer.
