I have one brother in-law currently serving, another brother-in law who recently completed his service, and a sister in law who has completed her service. Couldn't feel more blessed to have them as family, especially on Veteran's Day.

I would like to say a personal thank you to all who have or are serving, but a bigger one to my father in law who has treated me like a son for almost 40 years. He's a 93 year old WWII Army veteran who fought in France, Italy and Germany. After returning home, he spent the rest of his career serving as a member of the Indianapolis Fire Department.

I always think of the B17 crews when flying over England and into Europe and the amphibious and airborne troops when overflying the French coastline.
For me, it was weird overflying DaNang and seeing Vietnam from jet altitudes rather than helo altitudes.
