Early here but just watched the fireworks in Sidney Harbor. The New Year is working it's way 'round the globe.

Two of my friends, just moved to Sidney last month............

but yeah, i hope everyone is safe tonight, happy new years eve !! :D well i guess its time to drink :)

You people dont really need to know what I'm doing tonight and its not drinking. Unless its Guinness then I just may have 2 or 3. Happy new year I guess.

Any one from Philly hitting up Mummers Parade tomorrow? then 2nd street? Pretty solid time. I am laying low tonight so I can be prepared for an early day of festivities tomorrow.

But Fireworks at Sidney Harbor sounds insane.

Have a safe and happy New Year, everyone.

I'm gonna have a quiet night at home with the wife. Neither one of us drink, and the cops are going to be out in force. I did enough drinking in my younger days to last a life time.

Happy New Year fellas!

My wife and I are going to my buddy's house. His wife and mine have become great friends; they have 3 young daughters so the ladies will be playing with the girls while we're watching football (and drinking a wee bit). One thing for certain is that we will NOT be hitting the roads at all once we get there...too many drunk drivers.

We are all better due to the cumulative wisdoms we all bestow on each other. I pray and hope our team does special things this coming season. A fair wind is at our backs. An optimism is about. This year's harvest will be completely indicative of the sweat we leave in our fields.

Bless everyone in our existence. And be it known: The clock has struck 11:30. ND's time is soon approaching. We will once again regain our rightful position of utmost prominence within college football.

Last but not least. Bless our servicemen and bring them home safe, for with them our freedom's are fought for, our children safe in bed untreatened from outsiders when they sleep, and our heart's pumping with the same blood that blesses our minds with dreams in which we hope...

I only found this board this fall & even though I've been at odds with a few of you, end of the day I truly & sincerely appreciate this board, all its users & the varying opinions on the things were passionate about, Notre Dame, collegiate athletics & sports in general. I appreciate you all & am thankful just to be able to interact.

Any fan of the Irish is a friend of mine. Happy New Years to you all. Drink lots of beer, stay out of trouble & most of all be safe ;)

They weren't too pretty. Happy New Year's buddy. How did seeing El P from the air make you feel? The weather looked beautiful. I'm certain it was much colder than it appreared. Especially judging from the fact I live two hours away...
