Until yesterday, I only thought of Little as a WR but both Scout and Rivals seem to think he could be an amazing LB. In fact, Rivals describes him as having 'Unlimited potential on Defense'. Scout has him ranked the #8 LB. I wouldn't be surprised if ND gets him and moves him to D. Especially since the staff seems to be concentrating on guys who can play multiple positions. I imagine him as a Weis type guy who plays primarily LB but sometimes comes in and plays RB to get a tough yard. Or sometimes lines up at the TE spot.

I think you'd be wasting the kid's talent by playing him at LB. That's just me, though.

If we land Little and Martez Wilson, that could make for an incredible set of athletic linebackers (assuming Wilson can play LB instead of DE, which I tend to think he can).

Half of me agrees with Svoboda, though.

I am 90% convinced this guy is going to UNC. Just my opinion, but i don't see him anywhere else.

I have that impression also. It's because he never talks about Notre Dame anymore, it's all UNC, and he seems to be really good friends with the toddler (Mike Paulus).

I remember reading about a year ago the same thing about Marc Tyler, that he has more potential as a LB then he does as a running back, but would never consider a switch.

Yeah I think he is headed to UNC. Just because he wants to be the number one guy. And he won't be if he goes to ND if they get Benn.

Umm... Correct me if I am wrong but isnt WR Dwight Jones ranked around Benn as well? Hes a UNC committ. If Benn scares him, so will Jones. From the interviews it also sounds like Little is a "confident" guy to put it nicely. He wont be too scared of competition. If hes not Irish, it would be because he wants to stay close to home.

Looks like I'm totally alone when it comes to liking the idea of Little playing LB. That doesn't change my gut feeling, but I guess we'll find out what position he'll play soon enough. With a guy like Little, you have to believe the coaching staff will try him out everywhere before they settle on one spot.

As far as which school he goes to, it was Mike Frank who said that he thought Little was looking to UNC a while back - so that he could be the centre of the offense. In a recent Power Hour, though, Frank said that he thinks we have 'a better shot at Little than most people think.' So maybe something's changed.

Can you give me a link where you see him being high on UNC. I must be absolutely missing it, but in all interviews with Little, he always seems indifferent about UNC.

I'm mainly talking about an interview that AMP did with him when he 'raved' about Mike Paulus.
