Sorry if this is the wrong forum, I don't believe it is. Anyway I can't remember if this guy was a verbal to Notre Dame before he committed to North Carolina. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, he was a verbal, and bailed either on signing day or very close to signing day.

Both Greg Little and the other Little. An OLineman decided to go to some SEC team close to the last day.

Greg and Chris Little, Chris signed w/ Georgia, both flipped on signing day.....despite my thoughts of they are just kids, etc, I still haven't let it go, doing it on the day was bad.

Greg Little never amounted to anything more than an OK player for the Heels. As pissed as I was when he decommitted on NSD, I'm not that upset that he never became Irish.

I broke up with my girlfriend at the time because these two didn't sign with the Irish. Obviously at the time she was confused but I think she understands now.

i mean i wouldnt say that he was an ok player at best. compared to golden tate, yeah he was average but ur comparing him to one of the best players in cfb last year...

he was a rb at first, then changed to wr. last yr was his first true year at wideout. so u have to give him a little credit. especially since its not like his offense line or qb, or the true rb houston were helpin him out any

Chris Martin still gets me a little. Just because he was so excited to be Irish, changed his facebook and myspace and talked trash to other teams and what not...

This isn't true at all. First of all he has an awful QB throwing him the ball. TJ Yates is absolutely terrible. He still had 62 catches for 724 yards and 5 Touchdowns last season. The years prior he sat behind pretty good receivers such as Hakeem Nicks, Brandon Tate, and Brooks Foster. Last year was his first year as there number 1 and I think he performed well.

Yes. Anger sharks are still swimming. Louis Nix made me feel a little better though

Forgot to mention that all 3 of those guys were drafted in the 2009 draft. Tate got hurt actually against us if I'm not mistaken. That game still pisses me off we didn't win that one. Foster was a 5th rounder to the Rams. Tate I think was a 3rd rounder to the Patriots. Of course Nicks who killed us in that game was a first rounder to the Giants. I expect Little to be a 2nd or 3rd round pick eventually. Most likely a 2nd round guy. The receiving class this season is very deep. Most likely he will play two more seasons at UNC. Little has ideal size 6'3" prob around what 220 or so.

This coming draft class is deep at the wr position. Green, Julio, and Floyd are atop the list

That's about 11.6 yards a catch. He averaged about 5 catches a game for 60 yards. Those are at best average stats for a number one wideout. A great wide receiver can make a bad QB look good. But, Little clearly isn't doing that. I'm not saying the guy is terrible. I'm just saying he's OK, and I think his statistics are evidence of that.

Look at it this way. Would Greg Little have started at WR last year for the Irish? No. Would he start this year? Not likely. So again, I'm not too upset that he is not Irish.

dude are you being serious right now haha. the guy was recruited at running back. he played running back for a season. he just changed to wr last year man. would u have high expectations for theo riddick to come out with a 1000 yard 10+ td season if he started this year? absolutely not. thats a complete transition.

their o line wasnt good. they d is the only thing that helped them, probably one of the best defenses in the nation. tj yates played like 3 good games.

and a bad qb can make a good wr look bad if u wanna say a good wr can make a bad qb look good. if they ball is getting no where near the wr and its gettin picked off all the time it doesnt make sense.

First off, he was recruited by most at WR. I know that is where ND was recruiting him. Scout listed him as the #12 WR in the country in 2007. Here is a quote from him on his Scout profile: "My strengths are my pass routes and getting open. I'm good at converting routes when they need to be changed and because I understand defenses better, it's an advantage for me. I could always polish up my routes and become smoother. I could always work on catching the ball better, but I don't drop much. I prefer wide receiver over running back because I can dominate and take over a game from there."

60 yards a game is not dominating. Make all the excuses for him you want. He is average.

cool he likes to play wr better. my roommate is a miami fan so ive seen him play a lot between us and miami play him, the guy is good and he played rb then switched to wr.

quick question, are u gonna do better with helen kellar as your qb or peyton manning? since a good wr can make any bad qb look good

You are missing my point. He "can dominate" as a WR. Apparently, dominating is 60 yards a game and a TD ever three.

i also wouldnt say that aj green is a dominant receiver. all they do is throw him a slant or a go. and cox still performed better than tj yates. and he played better competition. and that doesnt mean that im saying hes a great qb im just sayin hes better than tj yates
