Greatest Weekend ever?

1.Florida loses, has 3 losses, Tebow probably nixed his Heisman hopefulness (THANK. GOD.)
and is officially out of the NC picture, probably the SEC title picture as well.

2. USC loses, has 2 losses, Booty can't possibly get a Heisman with this many games missed, USC probably out of both the NC picture and even is a long shot to win the Pac-10!

3. And perhaps most importantly, Notre Dame doesn't lose!!

Seriously, could this weekend have gone any better? I submit that it CANNOT.

Have to disagree there. The worse things are with Nebraska's season, the better our chances with Trev Robinson. And, today was just a painful loss for them. Being up like that and having Texas come back and win just added to a completely screwed up situation for the Huskers.

I agree with you there too. It would have also been much better if BC wold have lost. But as it stands now Ryan is even in better shape for the Heisman ater Florida/Tebow's loss.

I didn't wacth the game to see Ryan's performance, but I think that game shows how undeserving BC is of the #2 rating. They may be good, but not #2 good, at least yet. VT was the first good team they played and they couldn't score until the last 3 minutes and mostly due to VT meltdown.

I don't like OSU, but i would rather have them in due to them not being the popular choice (this year anyway). It's probably driving Mark May nuts that his beloved USC has gone the way of Michigan, and all of the SEC teams have proven to be vulnerable on any given Saturday, opening the door for OSU.

I would love to see OSU beat an SEC team for the NC too. Just so all the "SEC is as good as the NFL" talkers can eat their humble pie.

They didn't and and by game 4 or 5 THE NATION will be celebrating another World Series Championship! Did you see the offense by AL Rookie of the Year Pedroia and next year's AL ROY Jacoby Ellsbury? A beautiful thing and a great weekend!
