My sister is going with her husband, their six month old and his parents. It's sounds insane. I'm a history teacher and I can't even imagine going to this. Sure it will be amazing but it will be a zoo. Not only hot as hell, but thousands of people. Here's who I feel bad for: the poor bastards in the old wool uniforms who have to stay in the sun for 3 days. I would probably act like I got shot in the first minute just so I didn't have to dress up the next two days. Either way, I'm sure I'll be missing out in a great reinactment. Either way, I'm glad I won't be caught in traffic all weekend long.
