No sweat man.....we've got a good young team. If one of Brown's backups can step in and play half as well, we might be back in the NCAAs again next year.

What does this do for Brown's Hobey Baker hopes?

Dunno....not sure if/when voting has taken place by the sports writers. He still has a GAA under 2, so it's not like he got shelled or they lost because he played bad. He didn't have a great game vs Alabama but it's hard to put last night's MSU loss on him. Seemed like MSU was constantly on the powerplay and the first goal could have been put in by Stevie Wonder as the defense was nowhere to be found. Both goals last night were on the powerplay. MSU played a very good game and their goalie made some huge stops but I think it had every bit as much to do with ND playing 5 periods the night before. The team was uncharacteristically slow, non-agressive and took alot of penalties. I don't think you'll hear the coach or players mention being tired, that's just not how Jackson coaches. I'm guessing they'll give all the credit in the world to the Spartans. But I can't bear to read the reports.
