The current edition of the Fightin' Irish has some fundamental flaws. The killer instinct is not there. The combination of coaching, talent, desire, toughness and panache we now have isn't likely to straighten out. I fear we are an "also ran" team until there is a shake up in attitude, desire and heart .
No way we should have lost this game. Notre Dame's talent exceeds Pitts'. They stole the game with desire and toughness. We can forget NC dreams for some time.

The idea that 18,19,20,21 year old kids desire, toughness, etc... is etched in stone is baloney... anybody who thinks this team is not going to improve is sadly mistaken... their are many future NFL players on this roster who are going to be great players as they mature into men...

This team needs more Brian Smiths, Pat Kuntz's, and other emotional visual leaders on the field. I keep hearing about emotion being needed. If CW is patterning his syle afte Belicheks it will not serve him well.

Watch Colt Mccoy get slammed worse than a car accident (so that I had to turn my head at the second replay), then watch that same demolished QB come back and lead his team to another touchdown.

I slept through the ND/Pitt game. I anticpated a loss. I am tellin ya, God protected the local public by forcing me to sleep through it. No testosterone injections needed.
