Weis is going to look at the body of work. As pointed out, the B&G game is no more significant in the coaching staff's eyes than a regular practice. When you consider that they've got the same # of reps through the spring, plus or minus five repetitions... thats pretty equal if you ask me, and that means they are paying attention to every detail.
I think the consensus opinion is that Clausen is in the final 2. To pretty much everyone, there's just no way that the all-world recruit, who enrolled early, isn't given a shot.
So I think the real question here is, who's the other one, from Jones, Frazer, and Sharpley?
My best guess is, odds are Sharpley, then Jones, then Frazer, but I pretty much change my mind every other day. One day, I'll say Jones' athleticism is too much, then I'll say that Frazier's size and arm is hard to ignore, then the experience factor trumps with Sharpley. We know JC is one of them - and if not, I'll go with the shoulder ailment conspiracy theories, because he's too much of a prodigy to be made 3rd string off the bat. I think we have to wait the next 2-3 weeks patiently, 'cause its simply too hard to tell who the other man is.
