But check this out. I don't think the tongue "tastes" at all. I think it "tastes" in conjunction with other parts of the mouth, as well as the sense of smell. (You can't taste chit if you can't smell it.)

I read that "taste" buds are located on certain part of the tongue, so I tried it. I rolled a candy corn on all parts of my tongue and didn't taste anything. Not until my tongue touched the roof or other areas of my mouth did any flavor come through. I was drunk when I tried it though. (Bout 5 minutes ago)

(I think it's a conspiracy.)

I could go into detail but essentially all you need to know is that you need saliva to taste. for more refined flavors, your sense of smell plays a crucial role in taste... as you get older and your sense of smell improves, you prefer "grown up foods". your sense of smell hits it prime in your 30s and then retreats ever so gently into retirement.

I have a better idea. You should continue eating the Milky Way that's in your hand. While you look up my previous posts. A very good majority of those posts have brought something relevant and informative about ND FOOTBALL to this website. So the choice is up to you my friend. You could either continue to eat candy and be a sideshow on IE or you could decide to get in shape and find something your good at. Let me point you in the right direction, IT'S NOT FOOTBALL.

In the same vein, Skor bars are also horrendous. A thin chocolate covered brick. The cheerleaders in our high school gave them to the basketball team before games as part of our 'spirit flair' (A clever homonym to 'Score'- as in, 'enjoy this crappy candy bar, because you will never SCORE with one of us!')
