am i missing something on Griffith?
I may have jumped the gun here. Fixing.
I'm also predicting Matt Salerno gets a scholarship.

I think that if anyone expects the last few years they might be severely disappointed. We lost a lot on the offensive side of the ball.
I think if we have only lost 2-3 games at the end of the season, it would be a pretty huge success. Even with our somewhat favorable schedule.
Anyone else think we're gonna be butt this year?

I would be disappointed with anything less than 11-1.
—We’ll have the best defense in every game we play this year. —We’ll have the best RBs and TEs in every game.
—Our only returning OL would’ve been an AA but for an injury.
—We’ve recruited better along than OL than our opponents.
In 2012, we had a strong defense, RB/TE-heavy offense, makeshift OL, and unreliable QB play. Sound familiar? That team had less depth and a tougher schedule than the 2021 team. If we could win 12 games then, there’s no reason we should expect a 3-4 loss season now.

Has your opinion changed at all after the spring game?
I truly think Coan is going to be an improvement, with regards to "overall" playbook, over Ian.
In fact, in the spring game, I (anyway) noticed a notable difference between the playbook Coan and Pyne were running. Pyne's seemed much more in line with the Ian playbook.
With that said, barring no major injuries and a healthy KA, I see no reason why our O couldn't be better than last year. I'll go ahead and say I think it's going to be improved.
I’m more optimistic than I was a month or two ago but I’m usually a glass half full type of guy. I think there was some progress in the areas I was worried about. DB and OL. And, I expect the defense to be really good. I think Freeman inherited a group that is going to work very well for him. A lot of experience in the front 7 with active and athletic dudes. Coan will be a solid distributor of the ball. Less spectacular more consistent.
On either side of the ball I try to look for guys that will step up and become difference makers or guys that will continue to be so. Then how many of them does each side of the ball have. I think the list is growing on both sides of the ball and that makes me feel pretty confident.
