Anyone watch the special espn aired the other day? Being a Steeler fan I found it fascinating that all of the in house analysts picked the Steelers to finish third in the division missing the playoffs.

With out Suggs and an aging Ray Ray and Ed Reed, the Ravens will have to be carried by Flacco, who's inconsistent. The Bengals have talent but are still green IMO depsite making the playoffs and have the worst owner in all the NFL. The Browns......well they're just the Browns, I don't expect much from them even with the draft class they had.

IMO, it's down to Pittsburgh and Baltimore...............thoughts?

I really do hope the Browns turn it around, it hasn't been much of a rivalry lately.

I've hated the Steelers since you somehow let Teblow beat you guys. I hope you finish in last for the rest of eternity. Not really, I don't really care for the Ravens either.

Seriously though I can't see you guys getting worse than second.

Mike Brown isn't the worst owner in the league anymore and hasn't been for a few years. What he did to hold Palmer back and get a lot for nothing was unbelievable. He's relinquished some of his power and it has shown. He's hired more scouts and it's paid off. Their ability to draft has been incredible and I think it's due to the fact that Mikey has backed off a bit. I used to hate the guy with a passion, I'm a huge Bengals fan, but now I like him. I respect him and I think he's finally stopped being so much of a tight ***. I hate when there is a lot of expectations placed on the Bengals because in the past they would fold but that was a different group of guys. The one huge thing that Mike Brown does better than anyone is go out and over spend in free agency. We find the right guys that fit our system for cheap that others have given up on. We don't spend millions of dollars in free agency and try to keep our own guys in house. He's no where near the worst owner anymore. He was but he graduated. That being said I think it's between Cincinnati and Baltimore but I will never write Pittsburgh off. Should be a very competitive division. Can't wait.

I have a real hard time writing Pittsburgh off. I cringe when the Bengals have high expectations. But if they can stay healthy I think they have a chance to make the playoffs again.

They are young, but there is talent at each position group. I trust Zimmer and co. on defense. I'm excited to get a tough runner like the Law Firm and I hope a second receiver can step up. I think we sorely missed Jordan Shipley's presence in the middle with a young QB. Greshman will only get better. Whatever physical traits Dalton gives up to Palmer, he makes up with leadership qualities, it seems.

Love that Hue Jackson came back too, after gifting us a first-rounder for Palmer. Almost seems like a coup. Who Dey :D

Also, how do I get one of those Bengals logos underneath my avatar? Randy is a little lonely.

I'm a Huge Steeler fan also but they are also getting long in the tooth also. we have an unproven defensive line with Casey Hampton all but retired. IF Ziggy Hood some how becomes the talent he was suppose to be then the line will be alright. the linebacker need a youthful jolt. and the secondary needs TP to not get hurt again. The offensive should be able to hold its own against anyone. the best thing they did was draft them to big Olineman to protect Big Ben. I dont recall if the drafted a running back at all especially with Mendenhall and the knee issue.

Keisel is proven. They drafted Chris Rainey from Florida in the fifth round. I am glad Arians isnt the OC anymore. Cameron Heyward is a solid backup. I think the Steelers offense will be better and they will run the ball more this year.

Let's not forget that they addressed their Oline issues in a big big way by getting DeCastro and Adams in this draft. Tomlin has already said they will both start with Colon moving to left guard. Add Pouncey (best center in football IMO) and a very good Marcus Gilbert entering his second year and they have the potential to be great for a lomg time.
