Just curious on which broadcast other fans have favored and why.

Personally i was much more in favor of the ESPN broadcast for the following reasons:
1. Better broadcast... not a fan of Hammond and even Mayock so far
2. Crowd Shots
3.better picture (imo)
4. am probably the only one that cares- but you can hear Damsha Bua after every touchdown as well as the fight song

I would love to beat up Hammond, so on that alone I favored the espn broadcast.

I really like Mayock. ESPN is ok as long as Bob Davie isnt covering.

ESPN, although i would say actually NBC has better HD cameras, but less skilled cameramen

See, I actually was more frustrated with Blackledge and the Pilsbury Dough Boy than I ever was with Hammond. If I heard those two idiots mention how it was only the 9th night game in Spartan Stadium history, I was going to scream. They also contradicted themselves all the time - it was so annoying.

Hammond is much easier to take with Mayock anyway. I don't know, both crews suck pretty bad.

Hammond reminds me of the "announcer" in Gladiator... WAY too much make-up.

Is there really anything worse than listening to Musburger and Lil' Kirky thumbing each other under the broadcast table???

Musburger: "Folks, you're looking live....at the top of my dead, decrepit head, a follicle wasteland in search of hope.....and hereeeeeee comeeeee theeee Luckeyes......"

I like Mayock's annalysis, but good Lord man, lose the lisp. Guarantee you that Hammond needs a makeup touchup after all that spittle.
Kind of reminds me of the obese guy in Dune.
"Just a little spittle!"

Not a big fan of ESPN's camera angle. That aside, I think they do a good enough job.

ESPN showed more replays of of the game or plays that NBC doesn't. I liked their coverage of the game.

I used to like NBC's coverage a lot more but now they almost seem even. Maybe put NBC slightly ahead but that may just be because I like watching game played in South Bend.

Hammond is terrible. Give me Musberger any day of the week. At least his emotion is real, he bets every game he does.

I much prefer the ESPN broadcast. As far as the camera work I feel it is much more immersive and as previously stated, I like the more frequent replays. Although it could be shot with a single handheld camera and the lack of Liberace's re-animated corpse would put it over the edge. And quite frankly it seems as though they are rooting against us less
