This question might be a stretch and I may be looking into this too much, but does anyone think that ESPN may shift its anti-Notre Dame sentiment now that they have the BCS Bowls locked up starting in 2011? Notre Dame is what everyone likes to call them, "a national team." National team=ratings, ratings=money. Its still 2-3 years away but maybe they will shift the sentiment, or maybe they will just continue to keep hating even more if it comes down to ND reaching a BCS Bowl game. Would this new deal be a reason for them to tone it down? I guess they have to make it to that level first.

ESPN will continue to "pile on" the Irish until ND proves them different. The only way for it to stop is to start winning on a consistant basis.
