Eleven minutes into the latest installment of College Football Live, and they've already taken several shots at Notre Dame. They made a reference to a "Jimmy Clausen-like black eye" and also had a big BCS prediction board up and just HAD to make a reference to Lou's title prediction.

Well, that probably should have been mentioned. I love Lou, but even at the beginning of the season, every rational fan knew that wasn't going to happen, and was a completely ridiculous claim.

I found it funny when Herbie made a big deal to say "ND is not relevant anymore"..yet ESPN, is always talking about ND.

If you pay close attention to each broadcast, no matter what sport it is, ND is brought up in some capacity.

Digger Phelps just said that "there are guys out there that that know this job is a sleeping giant, similar to North Carolina of basketball" hopefully we find this coach.

I like Digger. He wants Randy Etzel of UCONN. he wants someone with D1 head coaching experience. He doesnt blame charlie, he blames the people who hired Charlie.

ESPN and the media in general are exactly the same: four weeks of non-stop editorials about how Charlie Weis deserves to be fired and how ND had to fire Weis to get things straight. Ten minutes after Weis is fired they start talking about how it doesn't matter and how ND is going to wallow in mediocrity from now on.

ESPN is the Fox "news" of sports "news". I can't wait until somebody well known (ie some well known person or famous sports player) rips ESPN apart, like they rip ND apart, but one up them and actually do it in an un-bias, factual and constructive form. Something like Jon Stewarts roast (but comedic) on Fox News. The day somebody does this, and the day ESPN admits complete bias is the day I'm looking forward too.
