as a more hardcore gamer (and Sony fanboy) i dont really like anything nintendo has said so far

Not me. For games like Mass Effect 3 and Batman coming to the Wii U, it shows that it is graphically comparable to 360 and Playstation 3. Third party developers will come, as will consumers.
