So many recievers have been taken over Rhema. Does he suck THAT bad?

It'd be weird for someone on the Notre Dame offense to be Mr. Irrelevent.

Ndukwe just got drafted by the Bengals with the 3rd to last pick. Way to go, guy.

I'm amazed no one picked McKnight. He was a little inconsistent, but he did have 15tds. The OL was pretty poor and Harris and Santucci both went. Weird.

I can't imagine D Walk and Rhema not getting drafted. I know both are lacking in some areas, but compared to the guys taken??? sure, Rhema dropped some passes, but he was still a very good receiver, had 15 TD catches last year and is Notre Dame's 2nd all-time receiver in terms of catches. And Darius is a steady back who surely could help a team out. I'm sure they'll get signed by someone, but it's got to be really disappointing for them.

Wow...I was really surprised that Darius wasn't picked up. I had a feeling that Rhema would have to tryout for a team, but I would have figured that Walker could fit into a team who needed a little depth at RB.

In the seventh round I was hoping Cleveland would pick up Rhema to give Brady a familiar traget to throw to in the offseason.

It sounded like the guys on the NFL network were upset that Walker did not stay for one more year at ND, and they thought that the one more year would have helped him in his draft status.

He might have thought he'd get less carries, and therefore worse draft status. It looks now like he should've stayed though.

Now that the draft is over does anyone think that ND laid an egg in 06 or did CW coach the hell out of his players. I just want to know what everyone thinks.

i honestly don't think he would have improved his status too much. he wasn't going to do anything differently and suddenly become super fast or anything. i mean, it's hard to do a whole lot better than the numbers he put up this year with the type of runner/receiver he is and in the system he was in and with all the other rbs competing for time. but hopefully he gets on a team that is a good fit for him.

Reminds me of Autry Denson or Lee Becton. Good college guys, considered "too slow" by NFL scouts.

Man, that's too bad for Walker and McKnight. But I'm really happy for Ndukwe and -- especially -- Richardson! Mike R. took his knocks over the years, but he was pretty solid for us last year and he's been a hard worker.

its wierd.... Was brady quinn the only person drafted from our offence? Considering we had a sucky Defence(which the sucky part is no longer in existence) i guess they had the talent but not the coaching....thanks minter

Are you a British citizen? I have never seen 'C''s used in offense or defense before. Limey bastard!

ND has talent and will always have it . It is up to the coach to find out what a player can do best and use them in that way. The one thing that CB has said is that after spring practice he will see what the team is not what he wants it to be and then scheme to his defense talent.

according to und.com D Walk signed with the Bears as did Frome, Rhema with the Saints, and Freeman with the Ravens.

They went to good teams. I'm honestly surprised that the Bengals didn't make a move on Rhema, although they really need a speed guy.

Thanks for sharing. They probably won't play much this year, will they?
