First off its WVU. Second, don't badmouth my university, please, because of one football players wonderlic score. The man will be making millions next year, and you'll be paying your hard earned money to watch him. So laugh all you want.

The only position where I would really look at Wonderlic is QB because being a dumb QB makes you end up like Vince Young. I think that everything people think the Wonderlic can say about a player could be easily found out in the interview process. If Austin is really this dumb, it will have shown in the interviews. If he just half-assed it, it will also show.

True. But what does it say about a guys character that just mails it in on a test that could cost him millions of dollars?

It's like the guys testing positive for drugs during the draft process...yeah, pot isn't that bad, but you can't quit smoking it for a few months knowing that you have millions on the line???!?!?

Sadly, the statistics are in your favor for that. If it was joke fine, sorry for reacting. WVU gets a bad rap because of the kids that come here to party...and flunk out freshman year. However, I knew that went I signed up for it so cant complain.

I highly doubt he took the test seriously, and A.J Green got a "9" two years ago and doesn't seem to have any problem reading an NFL playbook.

Completly fair, i'm not naive enough to say WVU is a better school than OofM or USC, but I just feel the need to stand up for it when I feel it is dragged through the mud. I'm sure you feel the same about your university. Now lets move on.. and worry about Boston's Finest catching this kid.

Yeahhh not really the same though. Pot is strictly against NFL rules. Bombing the Wonderlic isn't.

He might get asked about it in an interview, but if he just says I really didn't care about it, I came to play football, I can read a playbook, etc., he will be fine.

It's not that i'm comparing the schools...it's just that it seems there are schools that we don't have a problem slamming, but we get wide-eyed when someone (all in good fun) crack on us.

I mean, It's not that I said anything nasty...just make a smartass remark.

I got nothing against WVU.
