I think questions about family are legitimate because it is a proven fact that family background does affect character in many cases and $40 million is a big investment. That being said, it is also true that many people overcome bad family situations and do very well. I guess the questions asked and the answers given would help determine if someone will rise above bad family backgrounds and suceed.

I think Dez has had positive influences in life. His High School Coach/Teammates, his College coach/Teammates etc but he hasn't had 40 Million sitting in the bank until now. His positive influences will be happy for him and wish him well on his next step in life. His negative influences will come out of the woodwork with their hands out, telling him not to forget where he is from etc...(see pacman jones). In many cases we are judged not only on who we are, but also the compnay we keep. Again, I will say the question was worded inappropriately, but the Ideology behind the question is.... What has your relationship with women been like growing up? What is a normal family structure to you, are Crack dealers going to be around you>? What are you going to do to prevent them from damaging your successful career?

I also feel that we will never know the context of the question, the context would lead us into a better direction.

Every draft pick's character is questioned. Jimmy Clausen's character was highly scrutinized because of a stretch limo ride as an 18 year old, and him getting sucker punched by a idiot. If you can imagine the question mark on a Player that has already had issues with a suspension.
