Might be that he duped people into actually thinking that DOGE was anything other than a circus. Of course, you'll see the usual excuses of "lawfare" "OMG the MEDIA!" - despite having the pres/senate/house. I look forward to very open minded centrists coming to terms with this through the rational fact based approaches they take.

2. No one was upset behind cutting wasteful government spending...ever. That wasn't people's issue with DOGE. People's issue with DOGE was how it was being done and who it was being done to and it was an ideological war and the massive conflict of interests Musk had within those cuts.
