What does the board think about putting Deion Walker in for the next 2 games since Floyd will be out?? I say forget red shirting him for next year. I want to see what Walker has to offer.

At this point, I wouldn't want to waste a year of eligibility. I doubt he would be the difference in winning or losing against U$C. We lose a lot with Floyd out, but Kamara, Parris, Grimes etc, will have to pick it up.

I was thinking the same thing...There are positives and negatives. For one it could be good to get him some experience for next year and I would love to see him play. On the other hand though, is it worth wasting a year of eligibility? Especially against a team we should dominate and a team well who should dominate us? I don't think so. I think Deion will be hungry to contribute next year and he will...With Floyd, Tate, and Kamara coming back as known weapons, it will be great to drop this kid in off the radar and say to opposing teams "we've got more" not to mention Goodman and Shaq!

Deion is NOT going to see the field this season. CW himself even stated that Goodman and Walker will not play despite the injuries. I agree totally with him on this. Why waste the year of eligibility for a couple games. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN

No, it won't make a difference. Save the potential extra year of eligibility!

Yea there is not a chance in hell that he plays. Same with John Goodman, same with Dayne Crist. There is absolutely no reason to burn a year of eligibility at this point. If we were 10-0 and desperately needed him to win a national championship, then yes. Anything short of that, no.

Ty would put him in. :bbanana:

Reminds me when he burned a year for David Wolke by putting him in a lopsided game to hand the ball off to end the game...hahaha David wasn't to happy about that when he transferred.

I agree with everyone that says he shouldn't play. Charlie did say the following about Goodman and Walker

Q. I remember you saying mid year season, it's later in the year, you said if injuries happened you might need to use Goodman or Walker; is that a possibility?
COACH WEIS: We would do everything we could to not have that happen at this tim

We are trying to establish the run and thus do not need the 3-4 WR sets. Also we will beat Syracuse with our without Walker. We are probably going to get beat by USC. We are not playing for the NT. It would be stupid to kill a year of eligibility for these games, if this were week 2 maybe, but not with 2 games left. Kumara should be able to fill the void.

If Walker was one of the top 4 WR on the team he would of played already so I agree...he would not make that much of a difference. Next year we are going to have a sick WR group!
