Or at least his chute did, possibly, maybe, sorta. Whatever. Someone finds a buried parachute, we’ll assume DB Cooper, the man who hijacked a plane in November of 1971 and jumped from the same plane with $200K in cash, made it off the plane, and hightailed it to Mexico to bathe in tequila, mujeres, and [...]

Almost made it to Mexico (San Diego).

Came across this article (link below) in today's Indystar. I've always been fascinated by this case. For those of you who are not aware, outside of 911, this is probably the biggest high-jacking story in US history. The FBI has closed this case, which is weird given it has not been solved.

Apparently a lot of people believe it is this Rackstraw guy. He's never admitted it, but apparently hasn't denied it either. Is he not denying it just for fun? Did the FBI close the case, because they know it's Rackstraw, but can't prove it? When it's his time to go, I hope he lets everyone know one way or another.

That's the one I believe (Reca)

I really don't know TBH. There are several thing that say it was him, but there are also a number of facts that don't match up. While he was identified as being in the area the night of the high-jacking, that was 150 miles east of where the money was found. He doesn't match the composite compared to Rackstraw. Too bad Reca didn't offer to take a polygraph right before he died.
