Yep, he announced it on his radio show shortly after 2pm EST. He said that he was starting to take working there for granted, and he didn't want to do that. His last day will be Tues the 17th.

Maybe Mark May will start taking working there for granted, too.

I was getting a little tired of his radio show. His ego has been a little out of control. He does have the best guests. Colin Cowherd is my favorite by far. I wonder who they will replace him with in the noon timeslot.

I'd have to disagree there, my opinion he has one of the best shows going along with Colin before him.

It is one of the best shows but I think he was getting the big head. He took alot of days of and if people did not agree with him, then he made them look stupid. He is 100 times better than Jim Rome.

I like Patrick and I called the show once and was on the air, but he is not better than Jim Rome.

Can't say I'm sorry to see him go, as he wasn't a favorite of mine. Way, waaayyy too arrogant for me without his having some self-deprecation about it.

I just want to correct myself. His last day will be the 17th, but it'll be Aug. 17th, not July 17th as I had said earlier and for those that don't know he was contacted to possibly be Bob Barker's replacement on the Price is Right several weeks ago, but he turned it down.

He was joking about that yesterday and that he was giving auditions to the ladies to be models on the show, althought he wasnt doing the show.

I'm really going to miss this show, the hour Olberman is on is outstanding.
