With Dailey coming to the camp next week, maybe we can assume he is going to get an offer. It seems that he, Nagel, and Paskorz are all very similar. Do you think one of them are fast enough to move to safety?

I think Dailey will could play safety. But i think he will get bigger and become a good outside linebacker.

Why would you want to move fast LBs to safety? We have plenty of safeties anyway. What we need are fast LBs who can cover fast RBs out of the backfield.

Charlie wants LBs who have coverage ability.

Previous regime have had LBs strong against the run but weak in speed/coverage ability.

Nagel and Paskorz are going to be breaths of fresh air.

Well hopefully these guys bulk up to 235-240 and keep their speed. This would make them excellent linebackers in both aspects of coverage, and stopping the run.

I don't know whether it's a sure thing that Dailey will get an offer. I thought grades were an issue.

Are you getting your Daileys confused? I though he had good grades?

With Andrew Dailey of Massillon, there have been questions about his grades.

These guys have reported offers on various sites recently. This could be the first wave of the second wave, with more coming this weekend at the camp.

LB Chris Donald 6-2 220 Huntingdon, TN
WR Nick Sukay 6-3 200 Greensburg, PA
OT Derek Sherrod 6-6 298 Columbus, MS
ILB Chris Strong 6-3 251 Batesville, MS
WR DJ Donley 6-4 200 Folkston, GA
OLB Chris Walker 6-3 220 Memphis, TN
WR Jay Smith 6-2 195 Virginia Beach, VA
WR Wayne Bonner 6-3 184 Milledgeville, GA

Strong presence of Southern States players here.

I thought I read a story that he has a 3.3 GPA and was awaiting test results. Maybe I have my people mixed up.

I don't remember the specific article that said he had grade issues, but I know I came across something that left me with that impression. My bet is he'll put it all together when he sees the 'big carrot'.

What do you guys think he'll be rated? I havn't seen his videos, so from what I've heard alone I'd say he's a 4-star guy.

I'd say very high 3s to mid 4s depending on what you project him to.

On Irish Eyes Power Hour Mike Frank and JEff Baumhower both felt very strongly that we will not offer Dailey now that Paskorz has verballed. They felt that the two players were too similar.

I just watched Dailey's videos and I couldn't help but notice that, too. Much though I'd like to see another Ohioan on the roster, I think we had better focus more energy on getting Martez Wilson and Lorenzo Edwards.
