Hurt or quit because they were getting beat?

Some of the greatest tweets I saw tonight involved Cutler needing Vagisil to help with his injury.

If he has ligament damage I hope these people eat their words.

I'm certain his doctors will specify some sort of damage beyond comprehension if a player were to play on...

Bottom line: He's a wimp. He was walking FINE! That sand in his vajayjay is going to make a terribly stinky pearl.

I'm fuming. The Packers better handle the Steelers.

Cutler is the biggest prima donna I have seen in quite some time. For someone who has never consistently won, it seems he has a rather large sense of entitlement.

Thats my take also. Romo falls in here too. My two favorite teams have wimpy QBs. I would pay to see these two fight each other. Can you imagine the clawing, biting, and pinching that would go on?

geez, did any of you watch the bears games all season?? cutler is one tough sob. urlacher even says he's the toughest player on the team.

cutler's got one of the worst oline's in professional football and got sacked a ton this season. not only that, he got hit a ton. but no complaints from him, he kept getting up and taking the punishment.

now i don't like his sideline, or even on the field demeanor some times, but that doesn't mean he's not tough.

i've torn my acl and mcl, and if the knee swells up enough you can stand on it. these people ripping him on tweeter, need to shut up.

No doubt. ESPN provided this insight from Kreutz:
"I didn't even think he was going to finish the half," Kreutz said. "When he came back to try it again, that amazed me. It was shaking right after he took the hit and walked back in the huddle. It was swinging like this [waving his hand back and forth].

"So I knew one of his ligaments probably went. I can't remember exactly what play it was. I know it was the second quarter. I remember him walking in the huddle, and I saw it shaking like this. I said, 'Ah, man.'"

I've referred to Cutler as Baby Huey in the past, espeically the way he handled all that stuff in Denver. But I think he may be getting the sh*t end of the stick on this one.

If the reports on ESPN are true about his torm ligaments, then he was ligitamately injured. The injury apparently happened in the 2nd qtr, then he came back in the 3rd qtr on those torn ligaments and still gave it a go.

Considering this was the championship game, i dont think Cutler would have stay on the sidelines unless he was injured.

To my knowledge, this story is truth:

Me and my buddy are avid golfer's and one of his buddies is a golf teaching professional at out a country club outisde of Denver. Golfing pro's are pretty tight with each other as they like to play each other's courses, therefore, news travels fast. I was told that Cutler joined a pretty exclusive club out there and sometime during the beginning stages of his membership he rolled up with his buddies to play some golf. He showed up with his hat backwards, shirt untucked, pretty much not respecting any etiquette.

At one point during his round, he was asked to turn his hat around and tuck in his shirt. He gave the ranger a hard time to something along the lines of "don't you know who i am?" As you may or may not know, generally, country clubs, especially the exclusive clubs, dont need all the money that they can get their hands.

As he came off the green on the 18th hole, a club representative was there with a check in the amount of his membership fee. He basically told Cutler "Thanks but no Thanks."

Take it for what its worth, not really relative to his knee injury, but as a golfer, I love the story. Substitue Cutler with any athlete or rich person and I am loving it. Just young kids being young and dumb.
