I searched archives but couldn't find a definitive answer.

I've tried posting smilies from other message boards that are not in the pop-up list of smilies for this board, but it won't let me paste them. Is this a VC member feature, or not allowed at all?

I think for it naturally to come up it has to be in the smile list that VBulletin provides. I know of a few cases where it's been done, but they did it just like you would insert an image. I've never done it but I know SouthernIrish has done it recently so you might want to ask her more about it. Hope that helps.

The list I am trying to pull from is a vBulletin board, just not this one. They have one that has says kiss me i'm irish. how could i not try to add it here?

I think it has to exist on our list. I know I've tried to use some of our smiles/emotes on other vBulletin boards and it didn't work.
