He's not crying because he lost. He's crying because Urban told him he was flying to South Bend right after the game for a prior engagement ...

Now if only ND could have won a game today, it just might have been perfect.

If you look back, there was way too much emotion last week for Senior Day in Gainesville. This outcome was bound to happen. Florida forgot they had two games left and treated last week as the coronation. Florida lost focus and was not ready for Bama. Bama dominated. Boise should get consideration for an at-large over UF based off that performance.

I have my own four words....

{adjusts tie...}

You Are Freaking Immature.

Tell me something. What have you done with your life that gives you the right to downgrade a kid thats done everything right....On the field and off??? He's been a good student and has proven to be an asset in the community, yet you deem him to be some kind of jerk off.

So he had some emotions coming off the field in a potential National Championship game...big deal. I don't know if you're married and have kids, but I've got a couple of questions for you. Did you cry when your kid was born??? I did x2. Wept like a baby. Did you well up with pride when your child did well on the ballfield/got an award/did something beyond the call of duty??? I have. Emotions are a part of life. I'd suggest you choose your words a little more carefully in the future.

Grow the hell up.

Ya lets compare a game, A GAME to real life.

I cried when my kids were born. I cried when my Dad died. I don't cry when I'm unsuccessful in my ventures.

He cried because he lost & I took great pleasure in it thank you very much. I will choose my words how I see fit, not how you or anyone else deems I should. I am a fan of College Football posting on the internet how what I see relates to me & just because my opinions don't match yours does not make me any less important or mature than you. Your opinions are based on what you see (because I'm sure you don't know Tebow personally) & mine our based on what I see.

I suggest you loosen that tie.

kind of a losers mentality to get on a kid who has done everything right (for a change) for crying at the end of this game.

i dont recall anyone getting on weis when he was crying when his players came out with him. wasnt weis essentially crying because he knew it was the end of a dream.

grow up, people. taking joy in anothers pain is a real sign of weakness. this isnt a kid who has been a thug or electrocuted dogs or committed armed robbery.

Now people let's be nice. Everybody is entitled to their opinion. Have you ever seen ESPN articles about ND? Have you seen the comments sections? People rip on ND all the time, they don't care whose feelings they hurt. All I see on there is how Jimmy is over rated & here is their favorite word Notre Lame.

But they are entitled to their own opinions. That's what is so great about our Country. No I don't have no kids and don't want any, I only cry if a Family member passes on, I sure wouldn't cry in front of National T.V......... It was just a game...

I never saw Jimmy C. crying in front of National T.V. everytime ND lost, Timmy is used to winning, but when he gets to the NFL, he's going to be losing more than just 1 game a year........ If anyone should be crying is ND at how many games they lost in the last 3 years.... But they all took their beatings, and I never saw them crying in front of National T.V.

yes, and then people come on here and whine about it. they dont like ND being disparaged for no real reason other than people hating ND because they are ND, but they will gladly hate on Tebow for showing some real emotion without having any legitimate reason for disparaging him.

ND fans should be above that, right?

Why do Ohio State fans hate Michigan? Why do Red Sox Fans hate the Yankees? Because thats the nature of sports & sport fans. I am sport fan. I hate USC, the 49ers, Florida Football & the entire SEC. I am equally passionate about what I dislike as well as what I like.

I've had it up to my ears with Tim Tebow golendboy nonsense. I don't care what he does off the field. I care about the fact that he's an highly overrated quarterback thriving under a system my grandma would look good under (opinion). I've given him props for playing with tremendous heart but he has to compensate in some way. It still doesn't make him this glory boy the media makes him out to be.

Tears of pride is one thing. I get those all the time but crying because you lost is no different than when my 7 year old cries when he doesn't get his way. It's childish & unbecoming of somebody held to the standard that he is.

Don't give me this crap that I'm in no position to pass judgment. Thats what we all do as fans of the game. We pass judgment on skill, character & fortitude upon the athletes that choose to entertain us. This is above all, entertainment & I was very entertained by Tebow's lack of testicular fortitude & inability to man up in defeat. Something I am very unapologetic for. True champions accept defeat with grace & poise, not wheeping like a little girl.

Yes please conclude you're better than me because our opinions over something we see on TV vary.

Let's not delude ourselves here. I'm not running out on a field & laughing in his face nor would I. I am a spectator from afar. A very far. What I say will have no ill effect on Mr. Tebow nor am I doing him any harm.

Who cares it's college football! Is all these accomplishment going to translate to the pros, where every defenese has great palyers at ever position and not one maybe 2..

Quite frankly - if Teabag had 2009 Teabag numbers on any other team... even a top 20 team... we wouldn't know his name. Discounting Chaz Southern, Troy and Fla. Int. he threw 12 TD's on 5 picks (2 pick six's) and ran for 10. They left a 5 star QB on the bench....
I don't care that he was passionate and cried... I never played the game and these might be his last games... He may have slipped into the 4th round and no 2nd Heisman... he doesn't even deserve an invite this year (even if he can vote for himself). Ingrem, Gerhart, Colt (merely out of respect for body of work and he hasn't got one, however, Golden would be my third based on manning up in the college game - - Golden might even be my one, however, in this day and age... an ND player ain't getting one).

Probably not, but pissing on what he's done to this point makes no sense. He's been arguably the best player in the nation the past 4 years. No sense in sour grapes at this point.
