This injury would usually be meaningless except for the fact that Jimmy will not be 100% probably till next September

That is such an interesting statement that I have overlooked! If JC's turf toe wont be healthy until next september why would he leave? If he goes he will probably get drafted by a team that needs him to play on day one. With the injury he will not be mobile and it will make him a sitting duck! He may wanna stay one more year to let the injury heal.

If he has loose knees I guess it's time for him to wearing knee braces like Philip Rivers

any news on trevor robinson??

I don't think they were concerned I thought I saw something that said Charlie said something to the effect that he was walking around the locker room fine or something. Worried about Crist more than any.

glad to hear that, but seriously, TR is one of our best linemen and he protects our prize in JC. i think crist is important too, but we are talking about a starting lineman.

Early word. Weis is cautiously optimistic that Crist will be ok. T Rob is will likely be out for next week and we will see from there.

Guys,
EVERY injury is important and nobody should make light of a players injury saying, "well atleast it's not Floyd or Clausen". I personally think Crist is a GREAT kid who helped recruit almost an entire class of kids. Further, he came into a situation knowing he would be sitting for 2 or 3 years. GET WELL Dayne!!!!!!!

I certainly hope Crist is OK. That pass to J-Good was a frickin' LAY-ZER. If he gets the accuracy in check with his mobility, kid is gonna be sick. In 2011 after Jimmy is gone. :)

Thats the one damn thing I didn't want to see when we played Wazzou, a bunch of injuries. Several people got banged up. I mean nothing to major that we think, but just little nagging type injuries. Especially against a team like that, its agitating.

An interview with: COACH WEIS
Q. Any update on injuries?
COACH WEIS:
Well, Dayne (Crist) is going to get an MRI tomorrow. We're cautiously optimistic that it's not as bad as we originally thought it was. But, you know, we're keeping our fingers crossed on that one because when he got tested, the knee was a lot more stable than we thought it would be.
So like I said, I don't want to get his mom too excited because yesterday I told her what the best or worst could be. But there is a chance it could be better than I thought it was going to be, but we'll have to wait for that test.

Trevor (Robinson) got a low ankle sprain. He'll miss some time. I don't know if he'll play this week or not. But today, Sunday night at 8:00 o'clock, I'd list him as doubtful. But there is a difference between a low ankle sprain and a high ankle sprain. A low ankle sprain is a lot better than a high ankle sprain.

And Kapron (Lewis-Moore) seemed to be moving around pretty good today. So things looked positive there.
Michael (Floyd), I'll get his tests back probably tomorrow night. So at the press conference on Tuesday I'll be able to tell you where we are with him. That basically is it.

What's the status of Crist? Anyone here? I know he's not our #1, but it's hugely important that he's healthy this year.

You have to wait until tomorrow, where CW will announce it at his presser (unless it is leaked earlier)...

Oh, ok. Didn't see that or hear that. Thought it was today. Patience is a virtue they say...whatever that means :)

Frankly, I hope Sharpley plays the entire 2nd half because we're up by 40...but I still think it's important that Crist get more reps this year to prepare.

No worries.

But the depth chart just came out, and Crist isn't on it. That tells us nothing about his long term status, but it is an update...
