The next time Notre Dame finds themselves in a fourth and one situation or a goal line play...the solution is simple.

Golden Tate in the backfield.

Call a dive, have Golden leap over the line.

Sounds good to me.

I always thought it'd be cool if we lined up line a sneak with armando or riddick in the backfield and then have whoever is playing center snap it through Jimmy's legs to the RB while Jimmy pretends he is sneaking. Let the RB run wherever he wants to.

Before the turf toe Jimmy was a sneak threat. Since he injured it a second time I don't think he's viable to line up there and not worth the risk to losing him long term.

Agree. That's something people like to ignore when discussing Weis and playcalling. Jimmy's toe has made it so he really prefers not to keep Jimmy under center and instead puts him in the shotgun way more than he would like to. Definitely hurts our running game and play action along with the QB sneak threat in short yardage situations.

all the injuries are things people tend to ignore, they just want results but they dont know the whole situation. thems the breaks i guess!
