OK, I am a recruiting nerd and I can't wait for NSD. I've got problems man. I'm beyond geeked for this! I'm reading about several of you guys skipping work/school and watching it all day, and now I'm seriously thinking about skipping work, grabbing a cold one (or 4) and watching the madness unfold. And all for a bunch of 17-18 high school kids!
And sadly, it might all go for naught. All 4 prospects that we have a serious eye on, depending on the hour and the message board you read (no, make that the minute) could be headed to other places. And then 5 minutes later you hear that all 4 could be headed our way. It's friggin' mindboggling, and yet I LOVE IT! I keep telling myself to just stop reading the message boards and the articles and what-not, because in the end it's all just speculation, but I'm afraid i might miss something! (the great thing is that all I'll miss is some poster saying he has inside info saying that Manti is going to SC, while on another board a poster with 'can't-miss' info is saying that Manti is all Irish. And this goes on in 50 different boards with 50 different opinions and 50 different 'inside sources').
So what should I do tomorrow? Hell if I know, but one thing's for certain: I'll get home tonight, stay away from the computer for like 30 seconds (shaking madly like a fiend), and then jump on the message boards and the premium sites to look for a few more non-usable pieces of 'insight' that will inevitably be wrong.
Tomorrow can't come fast enough!!!
(P.S. I'm doing my taxes tomorrow. I just became a homeowner, so I'm hoping for the best. ND is either going to get 2-3 new signings and I'm going to get a huge refund, or ND is going to go 0-4 and I'm going to get jack shit for my return. There will be no in between! Byron Moore, you are on the clock!!!)
