Last I checked Colts were favored. Saints defense vs. Possibly best QB ever? I like your chances.

Edit: and it pains me to give that credit to USC and Purdue guys

I'm pretty sure the thread title should be the other way around. Do the Saints have a chance to win?

Dude the question should be can the saints defense stop manning and the colts offense. they just put up 30 points on the best defense in the league and manning carved them up. I think colts by a touchdown at least

Wait a minute, didn't the Colts horrific run defense just hold the number one rushing team in the league to only 86 yards? Even after they averaged 170 yards a game their last two playoff games? The Colts defense may not be the best, but they give up the fewest big plays and don't let the other team score often. Their defense is only allowing around 16.75 points a game, excluding the games they rested starters but including playoff games. The defense may let teams go up and down the field but they do a pretty good job of keeping them out the end zone. I think this will either be a good game or a blow out. Just think, Minnesota would have blown the 'Aints away if they learned how to hold the ball. Don't expect the Colts to be so giving.

My prediction Colts 42 'Aints 20

Lets not forget that this "horrific run defense" also shut down a Ravens team that made New England look like a High School team. Bush is only scary returning kicks and punts. What has he really done as a RB in his NFL career?

What the hell are you talking about? Horrific run D? Have you freaking watched the Colts this year? REALLY? This is not the D under Dungy. Coyer has come in, cracked heads, and people are FLYING to the football. They just held the best rushing team in the NFL to 86 yards! They held the raves to barely over a hundo? AND I'LL TAKE PEYTON MANNING VS. THE 26th RANKED D WHO DOESN'T HAVE A FREAKING PASS RUSH!!!

I could tell just by the thread title that Wabash was going to come streaking out of the blue like an easily turned-on bullet.

I was just reffering too how the colts have allowed teams like the jaguars to run all over them, a lot of times this season they got extremely lucky

This game has the potential to be the greatest game in Super Bowl history or the biggest blowout in Super Bowl history. It all depends on what happens on the first drive. If the Colts score a touchdown on the first drive, it will be a win by at the worst 24. If they go 3 and out, it could be very close. A field goal will mean a Colts win by about 3 scores. A drive that leads to a punt will make it about a 7 or 10 point win.

I honestly think Manning could go for 400 yards and 5 touchdowns on Super Bowl Sunday. The defense may be just as good as the offense. If Powers played it could have been a shutout. The run defense is near dominant. Clint Session will be a Pro Bowler, and Daniel Muir is great.

Can their run defense stop Reggie Bush? Really? Why would they need to stop the third leading rusher on the Saints team? Because he had 1 good playoff game?

the saints and Bush will have around 100 yards rushing thats it but the high powered colts offence will force the saints to throw since they will be down by a couple of touchdowns

My Colts 32 Saints 26.

I REALLY REALLY feel sorry for the city of New Orleans if the Saints do win. Its gonna be hurricane Katrina all over again. Riots, Fires, Mass pandominium, Looting, Murders, Shootings, Stabbings.......Oh wait, nevermind. Thats an every day occurance.
