College World Series

Taking a shot in the dark that there might be at least one other person who cares about college baseball on here.

The Regionals and Supers have been awesome so far. Five tickets have already been punched for Omaha: UC Irvine, Texas, Louisville, Texas Tech, and Vanderbilt.

There are three more winner-take-all games today and tonight to fill out the field.

#7 TCU vs. Pepperdine will be on ESPN 2 at 4
#6 Louisiana-Lafayette vs. Ole Miss will be on ESPN 2 at 7
#3 UVA vs. Maryland will be on ESPNU at 7

First round match ups in Omaha are June 14 and 15.

The left field wall was like the green monster with a kick out in it.

I have seen quite a few fields that are all turf kinda weird looking.

Yeah that wall is a huge obstacle now. Balls used to fly over it with regularity but with the new bats home runs to left are pretty nonexistent.

They have one of the coolest parks. They added outfield seating, too.

Sliding into bases on a turf field is an adjustment, as you can imagine. So is fielding a ground ball because it gets you QUICKLY.

Yea i bet. You have to be on your toes for sure. I bet it is a bit of adjusting for the visiting teams.
