It was a short run, but longer than most schools at least. I'm surprised Stanford is still kicking with 5 territories. They have a smaller enrollment size than Notre Dame even. My guess is it's a lack of competition on the west coast since they don't have a Michigan or Ohio State out there, and they're probably better organized and connected early on.
There's only 13 schools left in it after last night, with a few like Arizona State barely clinging to Hawaii. Ped State is nearly out too with one territory left. Bigger schools Virginia Tech and Texas are down to three territories and will certainly be exiting soon too. Pretty admirable run when you consider this is built for state schools to dominate.
