I enjoyed watching Kansas get it taken to them by Marquette.

This Maui Invitational has been outstanding. Can't wait for Marquette v Purdue.
Damn that was a fun game to watch. Marquette's pg was giving me serious John Stockton flashbacks.

Ive always enjoyed watching teams that press. Maybe that's growing up watching Dr Tom Davis' Hawkeyes..

Cooper Flagg is going to get a ton of hype, but Kon Knueppel is the "other" Duke freshman and that dude can play. Wow.

So many good freshmen.

Gonzaga rolling Baylor is a sign.

UCF beating TAMU was fun.

Mark Pope comes to Kentucky and beats Duke. That's a start.

Kansas looks very good.

UNC fires Hubert Davis

Bill Self may retire at KU

Dusty May and Scheyer could be eying the NBA

Will Wade back to LSU

What a second spin on the carousel. Gotta be happy if you’re Providence, Cincinnati etc and already locked up your coach. Butt clenching season if you’re Saint Louis is back.

Curious what direction North Carolina goes. Who in the big conferences might want to go to the blue blood? Does the Florida coach try to go there where he knows he'll never have to compete with football?

ESPN article said Brad Stevens and Billy Donovan as their early candidates. I don't see either them, especially Stevens, but if Donovan gets canned in Chicago I guess it's not unlikely. Been removed from the college game for over 10 years though and a lot has changed.

I wonder if Michigan may get poached of Dusty May to UNC or Kansas rather than the NBA. Probably the only 2 programs that can pull a coach from any school imo l

He’s waiting for the IU job to open again for the third time. Every time that job opens, IU fans get all delusional about Brad Stevens coming back to the state IN.
He's President of Basketball Operations for the Boston Celtics. I question his sanity if he leaves that job willingly to become a college head coach again. To each his own, but that decision would be utterly ludicrous.

Agreed 100%.

The IU job opens about every 4 years these days. Stevens has been rumored the last 3 hires (Miller, Woodson, and this last go around Devries). Every time I just shake my head and wonder WTF is wrong with these people?!?!

"WTF is wrong with these people...." feel like I utter that one quite a bit these days. On the daily. LOL

He left Butler 13 years ago. He stopped coaching in the NBA and went to the front office five years ago.

I'm not really sure what it is people can't seem to grasp. He's not going to voluntarily leave an NBA front office job to coach college ball at IU, UNC or anywhere else.

I understand delusional fan bases. I'm part of a couple. At some point, your brain stem needs to do the work and you have to come to grips with reality.

Obviously he’s not leaving for either IU or UNC hoops gif, that is laughable. He’s obviously waiting for Marcus to leave so he can come lead the Irish FB team. Duh.

He hated recruiting and the current state of NIL makes it 100x worse. He left for the Celtics and then left that role to have more time. Guy is set for life and has 0...hell negative desire to ever coach again.
