Spiller honestly might be one of the best rb's in the nation with respect to pure athetic ability. The kid can play some football.

You are not disrespecting ANYONE. DW is simply not fast. We have known that since he started.

And you are right on...I think we all wish we had some game-breaking speed.

Given how good DW is at receiving and blocking, I wish he was fast so he would truly be an amazing back. If he was just a bit faster he would be a game breaker and even up for the Heisman...

But if the Queen had balls...etc.

That's what we are missing. Our offense is too much dink and dunk and not enough stretching of the field. We don't have the luxury of having a back who can turn a 1 yd gain into a 1st down. You give Spiller a hole and it's six. Nobody can catch him. The cut he made on the TD before he scored on the screen pass was a thing of beauty. One quick cut BOOM!, and he took it to the house.

Yeah, that's basically it.

Darius can get a nice 10 yard run with a big hole...but generally what for Spiller would be 6-8 yards will be 3-4 for DW.

well its a good thing we have coaches who can recruit...i mean DW isnt one of Charlies recruits, now with that being said, he has done good in this system especially on blitz pick ups and as a receiver...but give Charlie a chance to get guys in there who can blaze down field
