I think she did it because she knew the cameras were there. Probably looking to be the next Judge Judy. Seriously I think judges give harsher punishments to celebrities because they are trying to make a name for themselves.

I should have said some Judges do this, not all of them obviously. But I've seen judges make examples of pro athletes who get DUI's, higher fines and additional community service.

I remember when Kevin Butler of the Bears got a harsher penalty because the judge said he should be a "role model" for kids. But that was like 25 years ago. I think society has pretty much given up on pro athletes as role models.
