Freshman. Just tied NCAA record with 78 saves. ND hockey in quadruple OT. Sorry, make that headed to FIFTH overtime.

He's up over 80 setting the all-time record. He could realistically get to 100 if this keeps up. Second longest game in NCAA history so far.

Officially the longest game ever. Peterson with 86 saves. ND had a golden chance to win it but the ND player's stick shattered as he went to put it in the net.

Darn. I hate that we went to hockey east. I just don't care about any of the schools we play now aside from BC. I also don't know anything about northeast hockey culture, but I bet it doesn't compare to MN and North Dakota. I want our old conference back!

I had shades of the ND basketball game against Louisville, except that overtime periods are so much longer in hockey. Tough break but Cal has been so good this year as a freshman, I expect great things over the next few years.

Indeed. Great finish to that series. It sucks these aren't televised. Hockey is such a great sport. If they aired hockey and lacrosse like they air basketball and baseball... Man, I'd be set.
