The volume of posts in some forums is getting to the point where if a question/topic isn't addressed within a couple days, it scrolls off the main page.
If this occurs, it is perfectly acceptable to "bump" your post by replying to it with the message *bump* (or something similar). This will move your post back to the top of the heap and display it on the front page again. We do ask out of common courtesy that this be done at a minimum of 8 hours after the post was originally made, with longer intervals after that if it still isn't addressed.
