Brian Kelly on The Herd

Cowherd was on Weis' jock in 2005...he likes winners, and says so unabashedly. He readily admits he's a frontrunner...

I listened to last part of it. Cowterd wasn't bad at all during the part I listened to. I was surprised that he threw Jimmy a bone ... he thinks that Jimmy will do well in the NFL. Thngs that make you go hmmmm!?

Lately Cowherd has been showing signs of being a little more fair to the ND family. I was listening to his show the other day and he was saying that JC was without a doubt the best QB in the draft. I agree w/ NDinL.A. too, I've heard him give some love to BK in the past.

This guy gets paid to talk about interesting stories. Right now, what is not to love about Brian Kelly and Notre Dame. 1. A coach that is a winner 2. A coach that is media friendly, and understands that it can be used as a tool for the univeristy 3. If Kelly struggles it will be back to Notre Dame is slow, how we still talk about Knute Rockne, standards being too high etc. Don't be fooled by him pumping the breaks on the Irish, he will pile back on if the ratings need it....it is his job! Personally I think he is a very smart guy that knows, and plays his game well... it is big business either way...he needs to be polarizing when he can!

Colin Cowherd is one of my favorite people who appears on ESPN. I can't stand just about every other person, besides Sal my Pal. Always fair and actually knowledgeable. Sarcastic first, actually mean the second part.
