Brandon Hoyte - NFL Draft?

Just a hunch, but I wouldn't not be surprised for Brandon Hoyte (who currently is not highly rated for the draft), to land with the Pats. Brandon has the intelligence, commitment, work ethic etc to fit into their system -- and C-Dub to grease the skids. Maybe a 7th round pick or hook on as free agent.

Stovall really shot up the charts. He's a first or second rounder right now.

Hoyte would be a great guy to have on your practice squad, doubt he'll play in the NFL though, but who knows.

If anything Coughlin will sign him to the Giants practice squad like he did Ryan Grant and Vondez Duff, Coughlin loves ND guys. Ryan Grant made 4 grand a week so its not a bad living.

Hoyte and other seniors will get to show thier stuff on the NFL days 1 & 2 coming up in March. The talking heads were saying on the NFL network during the combine that there have been guys who were not selected for the combine did so well on thier college's NFL day that they went as early as the 4th round.

Ouch, Vince Young. The position that requires the most intelligence and he fails an intelligence test. Probably not the kiss of death, but it will raise a few war room eyebrows.

I heard he took it again and got a 16.

Has anyone ever taken the test? I had a client that gave it out during interviews. I once asked if I could take it. I got a 35 out of 50, which is what Leinart scored I think.

yeah I think Leinart got a 36. Alot of the main sport sites have sample Wonderlic tests out now.

The gamesmanship that goes on pre-draft is amazing. This same GM probably has the number 7 or 8 pick and dearly needs a QB and he is creating FUD (Fear Uncertainty Doubt) hoping VY slides into his lap.
