I guess troy knows how brady felt all year last night.

To start with I thought troy smith deserved the heisman.he played well all year and a lot of you guys said that brady deserved it because he was the most important player to his team and troy smith was surrounded by a lot more talent.

two things upset me.
1. that I was hoping to get a new print of the heisman winners that included brady. The one with 7 on it is really old.
2. that most of you were just upset that brady didn't win it and was taking it out on troy

Now this was just one game yesterday, but the whole offense couldn't keep up with florida and really looked below average, thus making troy look like he was surrounded around a bunch of just average players.
boy he really showed what he looks like with average talent doesn't he?

Don't say average talent green.....just say out-coached.....they brought 4 all night and got to him, not so much Troy Smith's fault as the tackles faults

they brought 4 all night and got outcoached and there wasn't a talent problem?
that's funny.how can you only bring 4 and not be a talent problem?

naw they lined up 4 all night and then blitzed the hell out of him.yeah they got outcoached all right, but when you loose like that there also is a talent problem.
a lot of people were right at the beginning of the year about his inexperienced defense too.it just didn't show until last night.

you guys really made the sec fans happy with the arguments who's got the best conference, the sec or the big10.

Ton of people at the begining of the year also said we wouldnt beat, Iowa, Texas, so on and so forth....Ohio State proved a lot of people wrong this year....dont mistake that in haste of a bad game....

LOL, ya it was all his lines fault.

Listen Buckeye fan. You guys cant blame everything on Brady Quinn for our loses and then make excuses for a 6 yard performance from your *Heisman winner.

He was absolutely miserable tonight. He was actually worse than his stats if thats even possible.

You, sir, have obviously not seen many ND games this year. The type of pressure that your precious Troy's Myth was facing tonight was what Brady was facing every weekend; and just so we're clear, I'm not saying that every D was as good as UF, but that our offensive line was THAT BAD and he had defensive linemen all over him every weekend.

I just can't wait to hear the excuses that ESPN makes for Troy's Myth.

Oh wait; I've gotten a vision... here are the excuses...er, explanations:

1. OSU couldn't handle UF's speed/were out-classed in talent
2. The offensive line couldn't provide any protection
3. No help from the WR's (Ginn out in 1st quarter)

Hmmmm.......That's funny; Brady dealt with this almost every single week, yet never had a game as horrendous as that, and whenever he had a bad game (only a couple hundred yards with a couple TD's and a pick) there were no excuses for him.

Troy's Myth showed tonight why the NFL scouts (you know, the guys whose living depends on evaluating talent, as opposed to some blowhard on ESPN who has nothing at stake) want Quinn before Troy's Myth.

So what? How did those teams end up? Not exactly powerhouses. Preseason last year ND was predicted to go 1-5/0-6 in their first six games. Even after they handled Pitt, the 0-6 people were still saying 1-5. But at season's end, the teams they had played and beaten hadn't met preseason expectations so they still hadn't "beaten any quality teams."

Situation look familiar?

41-14 blowout in Bowl loss....sound familiar?

Over-ra...

well, I'll let you finish that thought.

True...but then Iowa is below average and Texas only average. tOSU had a really easy schedule, but for it's last two games.

you really gonna call Ohio State over rated...?? I highly doubt that, they beat a Michigan team that handled ND, and many other teams....Ohio State is far from over rated

Yeah, they're the best team to ever be beaten by 27 points in the Championship Game.

Didn't you come here after ND's 27 whipping to ask if we believed ND should be in a BCS game?

Unlike you, we did't go to OSU sites to ask if OSU belonged to be in the Championship Game, did we?

You didn't piss me off the other night but you're multiple posts tonight are pushing it.

Who said that OSU wasn't going to beat Iowa? OSU was favored across the board on that game. I'll give you Texas to an extent... but Iowa... cmon...

The Smith hype is over after last night. If you saw any of those overhead angles, the main issue with Smith was that he couldn't see over the linemen. It did not take great pressure on him or blitzes to disrupt his throws. All it took was a wall of 6'-5" to 6'-7" guys standing in front of him to either disrupt his throw or cause him to throw 10 yards away from his receiver.
