I'm not one for voting pitchers the MVP Award, but Chris Sale can make a case for AL MVP this year if that is indeed your thing.

He's hands down the AL Cy Young winner.

WTF Porcello!! Spot him 4 and he does his best to give them right back. He lives too much in the upper half of the strike zone...GET IT DOWN!!!

On the flip side, our "acquisitions" offensively (Devers included) have worked out nicely. Hitting 3 and 5 in tonight's lineup. Adding a 3 and 5 hitter at the "deadline" is a great thing.

Speaking of the middle of the lineup...Mookie is too good a hitter to be hitting in the top spot. He needs to drive in runs.

Mookie needs to be in the 3 hole. A healthy Pedroia as a leadoff hitter makes this lineup much more dynamic.

Great couple plays in the 11th on the defensive side of the ball.

Nunez and Devers have been key in this run for the Sox. Next week is a big week so hopefully they can stay hot.

Pedro was screwed out of the MVP that year. If I recall correctly a NY voter left him off the ballot because he was a pitcher - yet the same guy had not one but two pitchers on his ballot just the year before.
