Yeah, I read it. Find me a fan of any team that doesn't live in a glass house. Who do these SEC teams play out of conference? The Michigan-tOSU loser is still champion of the MAC.
BCS Schools with I-AA opponents are jokes. I can respect the MAC or CUSA or a service academy. But Citadel, Furman, New Hampshire, UMass? Sorry, Sugar.
No one says the Stanford/NC is ND's fault. "Fault" is not the issue. But they're on the schedule...
No, it is the issue. They were put on the schedule years ago and they suck this year. They were on the schedule and beaten. Just like Central Michigan and Ball State. Last year, Pitt, Michigan, Purdue, Tennessee and BYU all had crap years. Not this year. Missed them by 365 calendar days. That's life.
If SC beats Cal, I don't see the Irish beating them. But I've been wrong before.
Why should this matter? Carroll has never lost a game in November. If Cal beats them, I'm worried more.
Hesitation? Fear? Well, Michigan does have a tendency to play down to the level of its competition...
Clever, but That's one rematch you don't want. And much of the scUM fan base knows it. Line those two up on a neutral field and the score isn't 47-20. That game would be a dogfight. You'd be way better off with SC or "Tebow To the Left" Florida. So would Ohio State.
The winner of that game should not want to see the loser again.
This is all subjective crap. Who in their right mind is going to schedule Texas, Florida, USC, West Virginia, Florida State and Michigan every year? It won't happen. Everyone loads up September with teams they can beat. ND does it backwards.
