I don;t know if playoff system will be the answer. One big problem in making any changes is that there are too strong of factions (conferences) who will complain that the new system is unfair to them. Any tweaks will make it unfair to another conf. And on it goes. $$ rules the day.

Do you guys realize that this has no bearing unless there are not enough teams in the top 14? Why do you care? As long as you are in the top 14, you will be picked automatically, so just don't lose more than 2 (or sometimes even 3 games). Why all the hate towards BCS?
