at least not one that has thrown a pass in Div 1.

Transfer leaves hole in Eagles' offense

Dominque Davis, the starting QB, was academically suspended so he announced his transfer. As RS freshman QB in '08 he was 63-138, 741yds, 6 TD, 4ints. BC is left with RS freshman Justin Tuggle and a JUCO transfer Codi Boek. Both were behind Davis after the spring. Neither has thrown a Div 1 pass.

Last month BC lost top defensive player LB Mark Herzlich with cancer.

Things are looking bleak in Beantown.

I don't know how the "Angry" emoticon got in the title. I don't use emoticons. They're turned off in my options.

I'm not angry. I feel sad for Herzlich and his family.

As for Davis ... I'm sorry B.C. isn't that hard.

By playing them in the 2nd half of the season, I'm sure that the Irish will have their hands full against BC, regardless that they don't have an experienced QB at the start of the season. BC is always a tough game for the Irish!

BC will find a way to beat us with a high school caliber QB who has the game of his life and we have 7 fumbles.

Sounds like the predicament nebraska is in. They lost their starter to an ivy league school, and now they have a quarterback that has taken only one or two snaps in an actual game.

You are correct......with BC or even Michigan ST., you have to throw out records, because it is always going to be a game of passion. Those 2 schools in particular, always are up to play the Irish. Most everyone is up and ready to try and defeat the Irish, but it seems like BC and Sparty always make a game of it!
