Annoying because as fans we keep waiting for ND to take the next step and they refuse to do so. Even against LSU in the BCS game, granted they were over-matched with speed, but they showed nothing, and then eventually regressed.

THis year we wait for them to take a big step and come out of the gates firing (which they did) and then the rug is swiped out from under them (and the fans). No sense in getting mad at the players, im sure they are just as pissed.

I am pissed/disappointed with Kelly's playcalling. I thought I was going to see alot of quick-pased passing. Instead, I am getting dink and dunk passes and constant runs. I thought the run would set up play action, and I dont think I recall seeing that.

Still a whole half to play. Wouldnt mind seeing a new QB after the 1st drive if nothing happens.

Please, ND football, make the first step of taking the next step by beating USF.

To me, its the fact that they were in shock the first few drives, and are now discouraged and second guessing themselves instead of making easy plays.

I love what the run game is doing for the most part. But where the hell is the vertical attack? I know USF has a boatload of speed and all, but I haven't see a pass more than 15 yards?

After the first half the best thing that can be said is that were not losing by more. Our offense hasn't been terrible and neither has our defense but turnovers are whats killing us we should at the very least have 10 points up. Jonas grays fumble and the muffed punt gave them 10 of their points. If we cut out the mistakes in the 2nd we still have a very good chance.

Crist is simply horrible--less then 50%--Passes to high--passes too hard---passes behind recievers and the death pass in the endzone---

the team has no fire and connot be properly led by dayne crist----its hard to admit you made the wrong choice but dayne is a practice QB ==Tommy is a gamer----

Practice is practice. Game is a Game.

Theres a HUGE difference. (i.e. curtis painter looking GREAT all through camp for the Colts....ummmm yeahhhhhhhhh...not so much in an actual GAME)

Other than a bad throw and a INT, dayne has managed the game pretty well
