O right, they have a suspect defense and USC, Ohio St and us don't? By the way they were ranked in the top 5 last year in most defensive categories, including overall. And the fact that Ga. came back and scored some points on them doesn't make them a suspect defense. And the reason they ran that fake punt was becuase of game planning, RR said in the press conference that they noticed that in watching films. Since when did game planning not become important?

that's hands down seen it with my own eyes on t.v.
that game was a ripper real quick.

I won't give West Virginia any credit what-so-ever until they get a real schedule.

I have this nightmare that ND will win the title and WVU will be the undefeated team that wasn't selected because of their schedule...and we end up 'sharing' a national championship.

No, but going 11-1 and beating Georgia in atlanta does. IMO, my vote for no. 1 would go to WVU, ND #2, OSU, #3. WVU impressed me more overall than any other team did last year, with two Freshman at the helm. They should only improve this year and do not want to face them in the BCS championship.

Yes you read it right. And why do you have to be an ignorant asshole about the couch comment, FU. I'm a ND fan through and through, I can take my blinders off and try to give my thoughts on the opening AP poll. Why don't you instead of insulting people?

Secondly I'm not trying to defend their schedule, it's weak, but when you are doing an opening poll what do you have to go on??? A team's performance last year and what they have coming back are the two key factor's. They went 11-1 and beat georgia in atlanta. What did some of the other teams rated ahead of them do and what do they have coming back? So yes i'm dissappointed in all who can't see that WVU should be ranked in the top 5. i expect more from this board.
