This is a valid argument for paying college players. He won't have any legs left after his college career.

In all seriousness, can he be a Nix replacement? He's got size, and speed.

A school could go broke feeding him for four years.

Why do we not have an offer on the table??

...

"He runs too upright for college."

"The guy's got NO forward lean."

"Runs too much East West"

"All shake and no bake"

"Have you seen the competition he plays against? They're ALL small"

We had a kid like this in our Tyke level. Not 400 lbs but the size ratio was about the same just down to 7 8 and 9 year olds. Let him break off a long run and then start chopping him in half with shoulder pads to the gut. Done.

Not trying to be mean, but that kid is going to die very young.

This is actually a pretty cool story, when you think about it. Not a lot of guys would have the persistence to convince the coach to let them play rb at that size. And good on the coach for not forcing him to play OL for the same reason.

The kid is at RB because he gets yards. Weight or not. I think we are selling the circle button short here. Sometimes we all (coaches too) get confused by putting positions in weight and size boxes.
If he could do this on a bigger level? Why stop him? Let him play fullback in goal to go situations. The holes could be massive. The fact that he is only 6'4" makes it harder to just throw shoulder pads to the gut.

Before we even remotely look at recruiting... lets see some of his measurables. Bench? 40? etc.

Do you know who Buster is?

Yeah...He's the guy in the Avatar. Right? Anyway, this big guy seemed to do better when he ran slow then when he ran fast. He never get's tackled...he just trips. Pretty cool story though.
